Ikelite Housing
for Nikon Coolpix 5000 Digital Camera

All camera functions are accessible in this super compact housing that weighs less than 6 pounds complete with camera.

A #9306.68 optional port with dome lens is available to allow use of the WC-E68 Nikon 19mm wide conversion lens but cannot be removed while underwater.

Optional UWL-100 wide angle lens from Inon will attach directly to the standard port and can be removed while you are underwater. The camera flash is blocked by the housing. An internal deflector is included allowing the new DS series Digital SubStrobes to be triggered by our wireless TTL Slave Sensors. A bulkhead to allow use of a sync cord with TTL SubStrobes is also included.

Older SubStrobes require modification if the strobes were made before 6/1/01. If you are unsure if your strobe will work call us so we can help you. Optional mount for Nikonos strobes is available.

The housing is molded of corrosion free clear polycarbonate and operates safely to 200 feet. The Release Handle system allows easy attachment and removal of SubStrobe mounting arms at the touch of a button.

Housing measures 7" wide including knobs; 12" wide with the removable handle bar attached; 8" high including the removable base; and 6" deep including knobs and port.

The base provides a stable platform when housing is not used, but removes instantly if a smaller profile is preferred.
