The Ikelite ULTRAcompact digital housing for the CoolPix L18 really delivers when performance and durability matter. The ultra compact housing is high quality, built to last, and backed by Ikelite's long-standing reputation for excellence.

All camera controls are fully functional through the housing and depth rated to 200ft (60m).
Easy open latch and drop in camera loading make set-up a breeze.
Housing measures 6" (15.2cm) wide; 4.4" (22cm) high including controls; 3.4 (8.6cm) deep including port.
Camera and housing together weigh under 1.5lbs (.66kg) above water and are nearly neutral underwater.
Includes a 1cc tube of silicone lubricant, vinyl lanyard, flash diffuser, and flash detector.
The flash diffuser helps to improve lighting quality when the camera's built-in flash is used.
A built-in flash is only effective between two and three feet from the subject in clear conditions.

Options

External Color Filters: Replaces some of the resd and more natural tones that would otherwise be lost. Availiable as #6441.32 for tripical bule water and #6441.72 for green water. Filters are effective in shallow, sunny conditions depending on water clarity.

External Underwater Strobes: Ikelite strobes are much more powerful, recylce more quickly, and eliminate more backscatter than the camera's built-in flash. For the best results in all conditions.

Wide Angle Conversion Lenses: An external wide angle conversion lens increases angle of coverage so ou can get much closer to your subject while still fitting everything in the frame. Add an Ikelite W-20 or other wide angel lens with an accessory port adapter. Use for increased color and clarity in all conditions.

Accessories

The AF35 AutoFlash Kit is ideal for use with the Nikon L18 and housing
package as well as most compact digital camera housings. The AF35
replicates the camera's flash for automatic exposure in any situation.
You only have to know how to point!

The AutoFlash AF35 Kit is an effortless and affordable way to add a flash to your point-and-shoot camera system. Everything you need to get started is in the box- just attach it to the bottom of your housing and start taking pictures!

Single or dual trays attach directly to most housings for point-and-shoot digital cameras.
Mounting hardware is also included for use with most housings from Olympus, Canon and Sony.
The contoured handle features a rubber grip for added comfort. A pop bead arm offers flexibility in flash positioning.

W-20 Wide Angle Lens
The Ikelite W-20 can be removed and replace while underwater for maximum versatility.

Includes: protective caps, soft pouch and silicone lubricant.
To use the W-20 Wide Angle Lens on the Nikon CoolPix L18 housing requires the #9306.81 Wide Angle Lens Adapter.

NiMH Batteries and Charger

Four 2500ma "AA: cells with 1.5 hour Rapid Charger that acepts either "AA: or "AAA" NiMH cells.
Both 110V/220V charger with US plug and automobile 12volt accessory power supplies are included. Either 2 or 4 cells can be charged in this system.

These cells can be utilized in our PCm Lite, SubStrobes DS-50, DS-51 or camcorders and cameras that specify "AA" cell batteries.
