DX-5D Housing

The DX-5D is made of a tough corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy with a hard alumite coating for extra rigidity. It’s durable and ready to stand up to tough use. Its snug design keeps it compact and lightweight, and its leather-toned outer surface reflects the high quality of the camera it houses inside.

On the back, a newly designed pickup viewfinder brings every corner of the camera frame into clear view. You can easily sense when the shutter is pressed halfway to activate features without tripping the shutter. Inside, a leak sensor keeps watch for water inside the housing.

Features

• The optional TTL converter for Canon cameras enables automatic TTL flash adjustment.
• The tough aluminum body is compact, very close in size to the camera's dimensions, and is easy to hold stable underwater.
• The front and rear halves of the body are both made of a corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy improved and enhanced for better rigidity and handling.
