| Main Features of the Sony HDR-HC1: |
• The HDR-HC1 supplies 1,080 effective horizontal lines of resolution. The quantity of data is 4.5 times greater than conventional imaging (DV standard).
• The 1/3inch, 16:9 CMOS with 3 megapixel imaging sensor delivers dynamic range to capture accurate highlights, dramatic contrast, and vivid color.
• The 10x optical 120x digital Carl Zeiss Vario Sonnar T (zoom lens records images with maximum sharpness and contrast, distortion-free from corner to corner).
• Sony developed an advanced real-time HD codec engine to compress and manage the huge amount of data generated by high-definition capture. The HC1 model employs the same MPEG2 compression scheme used by the high-end model, the HDR-FX1.
• Sony’s Enhanced Imaging Processor technology processes the 1,440x1,080 HD video at breakthrough speed, ensuring clear, detailed images with virtually no loss of picture data. |
